PINE CLIFFS RESORT ANNOUNCES NEW F&B AND HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTORS

Pine Cliffs, A Luxury Collection Resort in the Algarve, has appointed Stuart Sage as Executive Chef to oversee resort's 12 restaurants and bars. Stuart Sage will promote the development of different concepts that complete the vast gastronomic offer of Pine Cliffs Resort from the local inspiration from O Pescador, to the healthy meals from Zest to the offer of the best selection of meats in Piri-Piri Steak House, working closely with the Chef of each restaurant in order to build new menus for 2018 to meet the current consumer expectations - concerned about health and values ​​typical ingredients of the region.

With an illustrious career in top restaurants and five star hotels, Stuart Sage has more than 24 years of experience. He joins Pine Cliffs Resort after being an Executive Chef at the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers, where he oversaw the development of the six restaurants and dining. Prior to that, he was Executive Chef of Atmosphere Restaurant at Burj Khalifa. He also worked in the kitchens of The Address Montgomerie, Le Meridien, Tang Restaurant at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina in Dubai and the Michelin-starred Rain Restaurant in Amsterdam.

In the area of ​​Human Resources the leadership is in charge of the Portuguese-Brazilian Veridiana Fernandes. Veridiana assumes that this is one of the biggest challenges of her career due to tourism growth in Portugal and to the fact that Resort is already a place sought by the excellence of the service and the offers it has.

She is part of Marriott group since 1997, and has worked in several units as Renaissance São Paulo Hotel, JW Marriott (Rio de Janeiro) and Marriott Executive Apartments (São Paulo), until she was promoted HR Director for Marriott Brasil, coordinating 7 different properties of 4 and 5 stars, covering about 1500 Employees - a position she held until 2011, when she left the company to devote herself to three children and family businesses.
