During an interview with Jornal Económico, Carlos Leal, General Manager for UIP, which has about 280 million euros of investments planned for Portugal, claims to lack strategic vision to the national airline company.
"TAP should have a more global vision. It should not only analyze whether the route has a profit or not, but what can this route bring from an economic perspective to the country, with direct impacts on restaurants, golf or car rental, for example. This issue has to be seen from a macroeconomic point of view.", states.
